If you haven’t seen the new Boxfresh site then I suggest you go have a gander. Check out their take on one of Britain’s favorite TV programs which they’ve named “Come Grime With Me”. Bellow is the blurb explaining what’s it’s all about..
“Everyone loves Come Dine With Me right? Turns out that London bass DJ Manara loves it more than most. As well as hosting our VICE shoot at the Peckham house she shares with fellow bass obsessed DJ Bok Bok, she offered to cook and bam! Come Grime With Me was born. Other guests were rising funky MC Donae’o, the jewel in the UK Dancehall scene’s crown ,Warrior Queen and L-Vis 1990 who promotes London’s livest, no holds barred monthly bass party Night Slugs. Check out what was eaten, who was wearing what and how Manara was scored by the cream of the UK urban music scene.”
Last Thursday me and Seven went down to Oxford to play on Freerange Radio 107.9. Here is the show we did. Big up Fu and B-ill who host the show, Fu comes out with some funny stuff sometime! And an especially big thanks to the mighty Dj Charris for getting us down!
These girls have got bars!!! Listen out for No Lay and Lady Leshurr on this clip, both of them deliver their rhymes so on point and both are equally as tight as one another. BO!
“And which man said girl can’t do it like dem, what ever bruv” No Lay
Cooly G is finally playing a set along side Alex Nut and the rest of the Eglo crew in East London’s The Macbeth tomorrow night. Trust when I say this is not to be missed! I recently interviewed her for WAH, check the full feature HERE.
It’s official Pablo Francisco is officially my new fave comedian. I sat through a load of his stand up shows on youtube the other night and was in hysterics from beginning to end! He is completely crazy and a lot of his stand up consists of sex, drugs and Mexicans.
He is so on point with timing and his facial expressions are enough to set me off, especially his crazy eyes… Watch out for those eyes.
I came across this Professor tune a lil while back now and i’ve been meaning to post it up for you guys to see… I think this is a great British music video and the tune is equally as bad! Finally some promising talent is getting noticed…
I went to Dam with Seven on Friday, to a club to called Paradiso. The dutch really know how to throw a party! The club was sic!! He was on 4-5 so he had to revive a tired crowd, but as soon as he dropped the first mix they went nuts!!! He double drop chase and status’s ‘Madhouse’ and a refix of ‘Eastern Jam’.Oh my god…. Seven really smashed it, it turned into a crazy Dutch mosh pit!!! Just check out the videos, they are so funny. Rusko played a live set on a bass guitar, a korg synth, Ableton Live and a few other bits and he killed it, it was so good to watch. He was like a rockstar up there!!!!!
