GROUND-ZERO
Ground-Zero is a collection of fun clothing designed by London based brothers Eri and Philip Chu. The pair decided to start their label after a period of feeling they were doing absolutely nothing in their lives. They made the noble decision to dedicate their lives to fashion, producing a range of fun and colourful clothing for likewise London residents. The designers are influenced by the charisma of London fashion, in particular street wear.
Combining their respective degrees in Graphic Design and Fashion Management the collection is made up of simple cuts with playful graphics. Retro cartoon characters like the Care Bears and Snow White are juxtaposed with more adult themes like drug use. Ground-Zero may come across as quite a dark name for a fashion brand, but the designers explain that 'ground' and 'zero' are both terms euphemisms for the beginning of everything.
